Or do sqrt(44)/2  --> (sqrt(4) x sqrt(11))/2 --> (2 x sqrt(11))/2 --> 2's cancel out so your left with sqrt(11)

Square root is "higher" than division and therefore should be done first before dividing by 2.    √44/2 (first divide the number 44 by 2 and then take the square root) is different from √44                                                                  2  (take square root first and then divide the result by 2)  For this, the result will be 6.63/2 = 3.315
