Ferdinand Magellan was killed by Native Americans. You can be fairly certain that the effect of Europeans on Native Americans was bad. Besides the hitherto unknown diseases that killed large numbers of Native Americans, the Europeans did not treat N.A's. As if they were human beings. They enslaved them and tortured them, and converted them by violence and killed them without reserve.....*p
