The others answer are missing numbers for sure. Using the numbers 1 2 3 in a 3 number combination I have made this list there are 27combinations in total hope this helps someone this is how I would pick my bike combinations when I forgot the combo.

Error directly above: notice that 333 is repeated twice. The missing combination is -> 323. Note, also, that there are 27 different combinations (with repetition) which is 3^3.

In a Combination the order doesn't matter. Wether you start with the number 1, 2, or 3  123, 132, 213, 231, 321 312 are "different numbers" but that would be the answer for a permutation case, where the order DOES matter.  Having this said, there is only ONE combination possible since either way you arrange the numbers it will still be formed by the SAME digits (1, 2 & 3). So there you have it :D
