The achievements of early mesopotamian civilizations were-moral, technological, aesthetic,scientific and most of all literary. Their achievements also included the Legal Theory, better known as the code of Hammurabi.
In the Akkad period the best known aesthetic Uruk IV.The technological achievements were the making of ziggurats and the irrigation system. Literature helped mesopotamia to rise to a very highly developed bureaucracy. Literature, one of mesopotamia's greatest accomplishments, also called in mesopotamia "cuneiform literature" was very developed and consisted of grammar and vocabulary.

Don't forget writing they were the first to create writing and they named it cuneiform.
