Maths can play an important role in social work. The social workers usually carry out activities that are beneficial to the society. The extent of the social work depends on the scale on which the social activity is being carried out. The social workers would have to deal with figures at one time or the other because all these things require estimates and then these workers have to get the funds for performing the activity. Even if someone else does the calculations, they should have the knowledge to counter check the figures and make certain they are right.
