Hindu-Arabic numerals are better than Roman numerals because they are easy. Secondly, there is no zero in the roman numeral systems which makes the mathematical concepts description impossible in the roman numerals. Hindu-Arabic numerals were introduced in 400 AD and it is considered as the best system to explain the mathematical concepts. All over the world, people find it easy to use Hindu-Arabic numerals as compare to roman numerals therefore, Hindu-Arabic numerals have gained popularity. Because of its simplicity and explanation of mathematical concepts I think Hindu-Arabic numerals is considered better than Roman numeral system.
