You can do it also without using a calculator by 3/5 double it so its 6/10 = in the tens Columb so 0.6 :)

One can convert any fraction into a decimal!  And it's not hard at all.  Think of that fraction bar as meaning 'divided by".

You will divide the top number (3) by the bottom number(5) (denominator).

So 3.00 / 5 in this case.

Your answer is .60  and that is the equivalent of 3/5.

Yes you can. One of the ways you it is by  dividing the numerator by the denominator(3 divided by 5).
