Just dance!...in front of a mirror or while recording yourself, watch and see what looks good.
Also watching any and all kinds of dancing is usually great inspiration. You may say "hey I kinda like how that looks but I'd do it this way..." and change it up a bit. The only way to get better is to practice and keep and open mind. Be creative, Innovative, also its great to bounce ideas off of other people, see if there is a student choreography workshop or class you can take somewhere around you. And good luck :)
