For the parenthesis, we need to first simplify whatever is inside it. 8/4 is the same thing as saying 8 divided by 4. How many 4's fit into 8? Two, so 8/4 = 2
((8/4) + 6) x 2
= (2 + 6) x 2
= (8) x 2
= 8 x 2 = 16
How much is ( (8/4)+ 6) x 2?
