You should be able to write an essay on India's prosperity quite easily, there is much economic positivity now, so it is great timing. Some of my thoughts on the subject are below but I am sure you can find much more...
At the moment, I think India can look positively towards the future for the first time in many years. It has a strong government who know what needs to be done and hopefully they will go about it the right way.
Narendra Modi is focusing on policies that support economic growth and luckily he understands other areas that need to be addressed such as poverty and general underdevelopment.
He will concentrate on projects that will bring in much needed money and create many more jobs.
Around 14 million new jobs need to be created as over half of India's population is under 25 years of age so they need to know they will have a future, and hopefully a secure one. These jobs can be created in industry far more easily than in agriculture.
New rail networks need to be built, and cities created to house the new industries that need to become global. India needs to be a big player in the export market and cut down on imports.
Luckily Modi is a realist, so his policies are, hopefully, not dreams. I think if I was living in India today I would feel optimistic about the changes ahead.
