Madge Saunders was and always will be an important person for the Jamaican nation, as well as Christians all over the world.
Among her many achievements, Madge Saunders implemented the following projects:
- Helped in the founding of the Meadowbrook United Church
- Assisted in funding and establishing several schools (ranging from preparatory through to high school).
These include:
- "The Mona and Iona Preparatory schools",
- "Meadowbrook High School"
- "The Kelley Lawson Training Centre"
Madge Saunders was well-known for her commitment to the community, and was recognized for her charitable deeds and faith in God.
She passed away when she was 96 years old, in 2009.
