Shine is a long word
After how many letters, perhaps even syllables do you consider a word to be long ?
I never really thought about it. I would say four syllables would start the long word category for me.
My favoite long word is monosyllabic. A five syllable word to describe a word with one syllable.
Not until they develop delusions of grandeur and become sesquipedalian.
Sesquipedalian is itself a long word with more than one meaning; one of which is, "a sesquipedalian is a person who uses words like sesquipedalian."
