A Field Trip Report is description of what you did, when you did it, where you went, why you went, who was with you and how you went there. I would suggest you write down the ansers to these question briefly. Use short phrases and single words to serve as a guide.

Then begin this way: On Monday, January __, I went on a Field Trip with my classmates to ___. The trip took about___ and we traveled there by ___
While there we __.
Some of the things we saw were___.
My favorite part of the trip was___.
We learned___.
We returned to ___ and then we ___

This is a basic outline for you to see how easy it is to write a report about a trip or anthing else you do. Make your story interesting so others will have a mental picture of your trip.

Good luck!

Writing a field trip report is a simple, exciting and challenging activity if you do it with a right attitude. It is fun as it allows you to introspect and re-see what you have already seen, challenging because you learn and remember new ways of cording different plant names. If you can verbally tell someone about your field trip, then you can write a trip report. There are a few guidelines that you need to follow for a formal report. But if the report is informal, you can pour you heart out.

You will not be able to include every plant name in your article or report but do not worry about that. Take some rough notes while on the trip if you think there is lot to remember. Keep in mind the dates and the name of the places that you went to. A report is nothing but an explanation of the sequence of a happening or an event, in this case, a field trip. You can be a little self indulgent and write your experience and feeling about a particular place or monument you visited during the visit. And lastly, write the report sooner rather than later as the memory of the trip is still green and you will be able to extract more.
