Some African societies did (like the Herero people the Germans killed in the early part of the twentieth century). Actually, there were millions of Africans killed as a result of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade and colonialism. I know many would-be historians claim that Africans did not suffer genocide because they profited from the labor of living Africans. Furthermore, they "justify" what happened by saying that Africans sold their brothers into slavery. This is simply a ridiculous way for white America to ease its conscience. The result of European involvement in Africa was that many millions of Africans died, population growth was completely stagnated, and political situations were created that led to the (largely ignored) genocides of today.

I know you asked about African-Americans specifically. If you are talking about during the Holocaust, then the answer is complicated. Blacks p.o.w.'s were treated worse than their white counterparts in Germany and black Germans were targeted for sterilization. There were blacks in German concentration camps. However, there was no "final solution" that we know of for blacks in Germany like there was for other groups.

No.  I still seem to see many of them around.  Some live on my street.  Some go to my neighborhood store.  Some are my friends.
