Research is carried out to ensure that you are going to have a clear understanding of the information that you need to find, it can either help you in general knowledge or if you need to know something for different studies. Research is now easy to do with the introduction of the internet and the different resources that you can find on it.

· Understanding

Research allows you to have a full understanding of what you need to know and how it can help you. It doesn't matter what you are researching as you are going to need to know what it is and how it can help you.

· Background information

Research allows you to have any background information that is going to be able to ensure that you know as much as possible about what you may be studying.

· Independence

Research gives you the independence to find the information that you need on your own.

· Studying

The main time research takes place is when people are studying and they need to know more about a certain subject or topic. This ensures that they are not going to be missing out on any information that they may need.

· Interests

You can be interested in something but not know much about it; however, with research you can fulfill your interests and know everything that you need to without too much effort.

Research is there to benefit you, and you probably do research without even knowing it. You may want to know some lyrics to a song and therefore search for them on the internet, this is considered research!

Research is carried out so you can understand stuff. Like, how many people know what's in modern soap if there aren't people who reseaerch the ingredients and origins aswell as its effect on humans. I researched soap on my own and realized I seriously had to stop washing my skin with it. Now my skin is smoother for longer and smells better too..what were we talking about again?

O, research, right. Doing research is also a good way of studying different things and its hard to forget something once you've researched it. Since we use different sources of information when doing research our knowledge increases greatly.
