1. You have to explain your decisions to gain the approval of all involved.
2. Members may not freely discuss out of fear of being chastised.
3. Usually majority declares the outcome and this leaves minorities dissatisfied.
4. Personal relations may play a more important role that they should through emotional reaction.
5. It takes longer to gain consent.
6. "Two heads are better than one." This can mean that a group reaches a decision and it can either be a result of combined greater intelligence or a combine greater lack of intelligence.
7. Priorities of different parties lead to different goals and different decisions.

There are obviously more negatives but these are those that I identify.
