Just a couple of ideas:

"Ozymandias" is a sonnet, though it moves away from the traditional sonnet form. The speaker ("I") is distanced from the events in the poem as he is just repeating what a "traveller" told him - this makes Ozymandias (who was a real king) even more distant. The poem emphasises space and a sense of things being gone or missing -trunkless legs, shattered visage etc - nothing is entire or enduring except the stretching sands which have outlasted this monument to human vanity.

I also came across a very interesting, clear anaysis of this poem and its structure - I'm sure you'll get some ideas there.
