The previous answer appears to be mistaken. 1 bar is 10^5 Pascals not joules. Bar is a measure of pressure and Joules are a measure of energy. Converting directly between the two is impossible. If you're units were bar liters rather than bar then 1bar L = 100Joules = 0.100 kJ.
