In a half cup water an ice cube melts in about 8 min. In apple juice or Pepsi it anywhere between 21min 48 seconds and 24 min 50 seconds. Yes, we did the science experiment 10 times each. Have not been able to find internet backup info. However, my daughter did this same experiment with Sprite 3 years ago with the same result. Good luck
