How Do I Shorten A Long Quote Using [...]? Also I Need More Than One Sentence From The Quote But They Are Sporadic And There Are Several Through Out The Quote How Would I Go About It? It Is All In The Same Quote By One Character.

Yes, you can just quote part, but you have to use the ellipses (...) to show that something came before your quote. You could write it similar to what I've done to your original question: "How do I shorten a long quote ... I need more than one sentence ... There are several throughout the quote  ... In the same quote by one character." Hope that helps.
