A vector has a magnitude as well as a direction. If the resultant of product of two vectors is also a vector, then the product is called vector product. The direction of the resultant vector of a vector product is always perpendicular the plane having two vectors. Let A and B are two vectors then their vector product is;

A x B = |A||B| Sin theta (unit vector)

Unit vector shows the direction of resultant vector which is perpendicular to the plane having A and B. If the angle between two vectors is 90 degree then the vector product is maximum. If the angle between two vectors is zero then the vector product is also zero.
