It's sounds cliche and stupid, but get some sleep! If you're going to be really extreme, I'm a singer, and when I first performed, the night before I took 1 paracetamol and a tiny bit of whisky, to send me off to sleep. Eat something high in energy in the morning, like have a banana and some coffee, or an energy drink, but don't drink too much before hand or you'll get nervous and need the loo!
