Humans can produce and understand it and make extensive use of it.

Many species communicate with one another. We don't know the details of their communication, for the most part, so cannot say with certainty that any feature of human language is unique. Parrots can spontaneously produce human language sounds. Apes can spontaneously produce human sign language. All manner of wild and domestic animals can understand human sounds and body language, as we do theirs.
