Check out this website: http://education-portal.com/articles/Top_Schools_for_CAD_Drafting_and_Design_Technology.html

None of them are really in the New York/New Jersey area except for RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology). These schools listed on the site offer degree programs in CAD.

But if you want to just take a CAD class or two and not necessarily have a degree in it or have a degree in something else that might use CAD (like engineering or architecture), then there are plenty of schools in that area. If that's the case, then I would just look into schools in New York and New Jersey and surrounding areas that are good in engineering and architecture. This would result in schools that may include MIT, Cornell University (alum :D ), Carnegie Melon University, Johns Hopkins University, University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University, Princeton University, and Rensselaer Polytechnic University.

Okay well hope this helps :)
