Michelle is making a scale drawing of a building. The scale for the drawing is 1 inch = 6 feet. What is the height of the building in the drawing?

The height of the BUILDING can be anything...it all depends on how the building is drawn. But whatever the size, if the height on the drawing were to be 7.25 inches, then you would have to do simple multiplication to find out its ACTUAL reality height.

If 1 inch = 6 feet, then 7.25 inches multiplied by 6 gives us 43.50 feet. This means that the height in the drawing is 7 1/4 inches while the actual height of the building is 43 1/2 feet.
