To discover what letter follows in the sequence E, I, and L, we need to take a look at the alphabet.
If we count from the start of the alphabet to the letter E, we find we have skipped 4 letters (A to D). If we were to skip from E to the letter I, this would miss out 3 letters (F to H). From here to the letter L, we pass over 2 letters (J and K). This leaves us with a number sequence of 4, 3, 2... And so of course then next number would be 1. In our alphabet sequence, this means we skip 1 letter (M) which leads us to N. Therefore, the next letter in the sequence E, I, and L would be N.Sequences Can Show How Smart You Are!
