DISA provides the DIACAP (Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process) training program.
Although the DIACAP Knowledge Service provides the main information and guidance for the community, DISA provides a training program that covers the DIACAP and the functions associated with it.
The training focuses on understanding the DIACAP, including the Knowledge Service, but also provides a look into the use of eMASS. This training is generally role based.
During the training program DoD Component identify individuals who require training and work with DISA to ensure personnel receive training required for their particular position.
