Considering that the official reserve account is linked to the amount of foreign currency held by a central bank, it would make sense that this could be improved through a stronger currency, or a reduction in balance-of-payment deficits which the official reserve account is responsible for paying out.
Sometimes the central bank may opt to hold forex reserves in various currencies, but most often they are in US Dollars.
