Without looking it up on google etc, what do you know/remember about JFK (other than he was president and was killed)?

I still have a scrap book I made in school when he was President. I had to memorize his inaugural speech for a class in 6th grade. I know my Mom just loved him and thought he was the best ever. Even after the Bay of Pigs disaster. I knew all about him then but that's been many many years ago. That and he was a war hero on P.T. 109.

The odd thing that I always remember about him is that he had Addison's disease. I had never heard of the disease until my vet diagnosed my oldest dog with it. Strange but true.

The other thing I remember is a little embarrassing. In first grade my teacher took out a picture of Kennedy and asked if anyone knew who it was. Of course, I raised my hand and said, "Yes, that is my Uncle!". You see, my Grandmother and my parents always had a picture of him and the Pope in a frame in each of their homes. Every time I asked who he was, my Grandma would laugh and say, "Oh that's your Uncle." I wish I could say that was the last time Grandma let me down the wrong path!  Lol 😄

I find it VERY hard to navigate! I do like the people on there, but if I have to go through 25 things to speak to them, I would rather just come here to blurt it!
