I want to change my style this year for school. I'm sick of people thinking I'm "dark" because I always wear my converse, jeans and black band/graphic shirts. I want to dress more chic, which stores offer this kind of style?

Just walk around the mall and look for stores with nice bright clothes.. Although, malls can be expensive but most stores usually have sales.

Or. You could go to a second hand store.. They usually have some good things there (I use to work in one)... Ummm... Walmart??

I honestly would not recommend Talbots, J.J. Jill, or Anne Taylor simply because they generally have styles for older generations. Sometimes Ann Taylor Loft has some good things for your age group, but they are generally very classy.

Try instead Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Wet Sea, Charming Charlies (they are mostly jewelry, but the clothes they do sell are always bright, not very expensive, and are very in style), and definitely H&M. These are all places I shop, and I'm a 30-year-old who still looks like a young 20-something. :)

Also, when all else fails, TARGET! Good luck!
