I smell scam.
Would you enter a contest for expensive prizes requiring a short written essay and an entry fee ($25-$100 depending on prize)? If yes, please say what types of prizes you would most like to see, and if not, please state why not. Thank you!
It depends.
In Washington/Oregon, such contests must be licensed by the state … and they CLOSELY monitor them. So if the contest had a valid license, I might enter (depending on the prize and fee). >> There have been a couple such contests in Oregon for houses that were having a difficult time selling, back in the mid 1990's. One house was won, the other didn't get enough entries and had to give all the money back to contestants.
The other thing is to actually check with the state. There have been numerous stories of such contests in Washington, for example … but the state says there have been very few actual, legitimate such contests.
Absolutely not. Why? For the same reason I would not buy a lottery ticket from an unknown source. I smell the same scam as Crow Robot.
It doesn't help that you ask the question anonymously, either. That shows that you lack the integrity or the courage (or both) to sign even your user name to your question. Why would I trust you with my money?
