Witches are ugly old  crones with warts on their noses. They cast spells, do evil, and turn princes into frogs.

Witches are also acknowledged as aviation pioneers. Long before Orville and Wilbur put Kittyhawk on the map, witches were scudding about the sky on their broomsticks.

Witches also take the appearance of beautiful girls who bewitch even old curmudgeons like your Uncle Didge.

By and large I think witches stack up as pretty good people.

The word 'witch' can conjure up several different images, including the stereotypical riding-around-on-broomsticks-and-casting-spells witches that you see in films and around Halloween, however, I think of them as people who practice magick. Many of them follow a pagan religion, the most common example probably being Wicca, however they come from a wide range of backgrounds and some do not follow any religion.
