I estimate most of the time. Unless I am getting or talking about a dose of medicine or balancing a checkbook I tend to estimate.
When would you estimate instead of finding an exact answer?
Whenever I'm rushing. Rule of thumb: NEVER estimate when you're operating machinery of some kind.
