Do you think that children and young adults being exposed to the Internet and technology at an early age is a problem? I had access to the Internet at an early age, and I learned a lot from Google?

It also peaked my interest in things like science.  However, I see how it might also be a problem.  Does the good outweigh the bad?

Exposure isn't the problem. Too much and the wrong kind is. As with anything when it comes to children, supervision is key.

Apparently grammar and punctuation wasn't among the things you've learned from the Internet.

when I was in school we had computer classes so that's how I learned to use a computer and know how to get on the internet.

Depends on a lot of factors.  We introduced Baldwin Jr. to all that by buying him a Commodore 64 when he was a youngun.  He is now a millionaire and retired at 43.  So, in that case I guess it turned out OK.

We can never know what (skills etc.) our young people are going to need to get by in this ever-evolving world, so the earlier they are competent at a multitude of skills, so much the better.
