Maybe circumstances made boarding school too expensive for your parents. Make the best of what you have, the rewards will be great.

You do realize that private school and boarding schools are very expensive.  Maybe your parents can't afford that now.  Why can't you concentrate at home?  Do you need more structure or more quiet??  Talk to your parents about making things more conducive to studying there if that's what they want you to do.  At 14, you aren't in a position to tell your parents what you will do.  I'm sure they have their own side to this .. I'd like to know what it is.

My oldest was in public school and graduated. My second was in public school until Jr. High then I began home schooling her. My third is still in public school. I see the down fall that public school has taken. My fourth will not be going to public school. Though home schooling has its challeneges, so does every other route. Trust your parents that they have your best interest at heart. Go thank them and then talk to them. Walt and Barb are right. They are gonna be more then willing to help make things better for you to concentrate.

Well the solution is clear.  You can get a night job and then pay for your private school.  PROBLEM SOLVED.

I'm 14. Can't exactly do that. I left private school because I commuted two hours via train.

Well at 14 it's as good a time as ever to learn that life is tough. You often can't do what you want. You can either give up or make the best of what you have.
