If it's a vase at home it rhymes with mace. If it's a vase at the museum it is a voz....
Help settle a silly debate I'm having with someone : Which is the correct or which way do you personally pronounce the word "Vase" rhyming with "Oz" or " ace " ?( If you don't answer in my favour it's fine but not really ;p )
Vase voz who cares
Vase as in ace. If you say voz, you probably say foyea, tomahto and potahto. All wrong in my world.
I always pronounce it like vace ! Although I've heard others say voz. Don't know which one is right though but it's OK cos I said so ! LOL
vase

Vase that rhymes with "ace".
Rhyming with ace.....
I say "vace". "Voz" seems a bit affected and pretentious to me.
Vase and ace. Cus I'm with Rooster, BAM!!!!
Vace (as an ace) if it's cheap
Vace (as in oz) if it's EXTREMELY expensive ๐ฒ๐
Both actually can be pronounced! Which is the correct ? No idea! But
Voz of course Voz cos Jaimie said so! I want you to win! ;)
On my side of the Pacific it rhymes with parse.
I typically say it as vace. It's kind of like the word Caribbean...lol.
As Ray Dart might answer, "yes."

vase rhymes with cars.
Ok. I wasn't going to vote but I want Jaimie to win so the voz has the vote. I normally pronounce it vase / ace but that vase was purchased at the dollar store so it fits.
I need to know if I won something - like pizza or Mountain Dew or Otis' shine.....???
