Help settle a silly debate I'm having with someone : Which is the correct or which way do you personally pronounce the word "Vase" rhyming with "Oz" or " ace " ?( If you don't answer in my favour it's fine but not really ;p )

If it's a vase at home it rhymes with mace. If it's a vase at the museum it is a voz....

Vase as in ace. If you say voz, you probably say foyea, tomahto and potahto. All wrong in my world.

I usually pronounce it as vace but I know several who say voz. To help you win, you can put me down for voz. ;)

I say "vace".  "Voz" seems a bit affected and pretentious to me.

I don't think I'm pretentious :( but that's the way I pronounce it.

I guess it's also where you live and how you grew up pronouncing it. If I started to say "Voz", I'm sure my friends would ask me who I'm trying to impress .. lol

Vace (as an ace) if it's cheap

Vace (as in oz) if it's EXTREMELY expensive 💲😉

Ahhhh that makes sence to me :) I guess I must like to fake that all my "voz's " are extremely expensive and oh so very posh... I win then in my own mind . :) cos I said so !

Ok. I wasn't going to vote but I want Jaimie to win so the voz has the vote. I normally pronounce it vase / ace but that vase was purchased at the dollar store so it fits.

I need to know if I won something - like pizza or Mountain Dew or Otis' shine.....???
