I have over an hour drive for work. It's not as bad as it sounds and you get used to it. Getting up early is kinda suckish sometimes but you get to listen to music for an hour in the car and that's AWESOME ! And then another hour of music on the way home... AWESOMER :)
I was accepted into a program that is in a whole other continent :P Because I want to go, I will make it happen! If you REALLY want to attend this program, and you are literally able to go, I don't see why not! One hour is nothing!
Is this program something that is going to help you? It must be something you are interested in, or you wouldn't have applied for it. I found audio books work well on commutes to help pass the time.
