The Five Love Languages by Dr. Gary Chapman. I know it well! Mine would be a mix between Quality Time and Gifts.

Hi, did you take the test or just read the "statements"? 😊
Corey The Goofyhawk
Both, actually, after reading the book. The statements are pretty straight forward to figure out but, yes, I did take the tests. They confirmed what I already knew. :)

Just an informational comment:

When I was in high school I was introduced in class to Eric Fromm's The Art of loving.

“Love is a decision, it is a judgment, it is a promise. If love were only a feeling, there would be no basis for the promise to love each other forever. A feeling comes and it may go. How can I judge that it will stay forever, when my act does not involve judgment and decision.”

― Erich Fromm, The Art of Loving

And he goes on to say (along with many other pearls of wisdom) that love involves care, respect, responsibility, and knowledge.

That's been my "Bible" since I read it in the early 1960,s

Nothing wrong with Chapman's book, but I have a working model of marriage that has served me well all these years.

I can always improve on my "art," but Fromm gave me a very good understanding of "color" for my marriage "art"---I really don't need additional technical information.
