You really don't need to be popular I was very popular in high school. You need to be kind to the people that you're not very popular with. Just say hi how you doing what's up what's going on .
You really don't need to be popular, just known. I wasn't popular, but I knew a lot of people. And all you have to do is be kind to them. Just say "Hi. How ya doing?" or if they play a sport ask about the game/sport, or if you saw the game congratulate them on the win, or say tough loss. I am not saying talk to everyone you pass in the hall, but if you are standing next to some, say something. And be sure to go to as many activities as you can.
Study hard and get good grades. Join extra curricular activities where you can become a productive part of school and society. Set a good example for other kids in your school. Generally, live your life being the best person you can be. You will be respected by others and show you have self-respect. But keep it all in perspective. Being popular is high school stuff in itself won't help you live a successful life in the real world.
Winning popularity can be tricky and does require effort, especially if you're an introvert or not much of a people-person. The best presidents are usually the ones who originally have big plans and genuinely want to serve the student body and then go out of their way to win support, so it sounds like you're on the right track! However, I find that more qualified students tend to not get elected and vice versa because of popularity, which really sucks, but that's the way it works in high school. Essentially, you'll need three things to win popularity:
- Aaron Samuels
-"Hot" body
-Army of Skanks
First of all, study hard to get the good grades and participate in every extra activity and try to win. Be polite with everyone and try to lead in every activity.
