Adele she has a voice of gods
For the older generations that grew up in the 40's, 50's. 60's and 70's.. Is there any music or songs on the radio (in this era) that you like? or modern music of today? (i know you grew up listening to different music from what there is today but what is one of your favorite modern day songs or artists?
Nearly all 50-80's R & B and Classical.
Not a lot. I grew up in the era before Rock and Roll (I think Rock Around the Clock was the first, about 1955) and my taste was for a different kind of music.
I don't bother to listen to the radio any more but my phone is loaded with a very eclectic mix from Wagner G&S at one end of the scale to Billy Joel at the other.
We learn to love the music of our generation and my generation was just further back in time than most.
Being kind of old school, there isn't many I listen to much but I like some of Pink's music and videos and the same for Carrie Underwood.
Not a lot. I usually listen to my cd collection from the 40's through the early 70's. I do like Josh Groban, Adele, and Carrie Underwood. Does that count? :)
I like alternative and Indie rock. Groups like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lumineers, Blink-182, Weezer, etc.
"Give me that old time rock and roll, the music that moved my soul!"
I cannot, and I have tried, enjoy / get into any of today's music. I can't stand the "new christian music". It all seems exactly the same, over and over.
