I'm not a military man nor will I pretend to be. However, in my opinion, fighting for one's country is one of the greatest honors there is. I have the utmost respect for the brave men and women of our armed forces who put their lives on the line to defend their families, their country, and the freedoms we all enjoy on a daily basis.

To answer your question though, I'd recommend doing alittle research across the internet or even visit the local recruiting offices in your area. They'd have the most information to answer your question. Upon a quick Google search, I came across the website below that lists about 11 positive reasons to join the military. Take a look and see what you think. It may make a great start into your search. Good luck!

If you have good enough marks, check with recruiting office and see if they will put you through university.  Or check and see which university degrees will get you into the military as an officer. Better pay, better future, and you have something to fall back on if you quit the military.

The Military has gotten picky and most of the time now wants people with at least 1 year of College  before they enlist but guess it depends on the job you want so best talk to a Recruiter about your future options with them.  Merry Christmas
