I have read several inspiring books, which helped me a lot in my life, as they told us how to do and be courageous to face everything, so I have changed, I have confidence in myself and I can do something in organised well and since I have been living in peaceful nowadays.
Oh boy. Have I ever. Melody Beattie is a good one for codependency. Zig Ziglar for motivational and personal development. There are so many that I've read throughout the years, it would be impossible to name them all.
I used to read a book called "Mind over mood" which is supposed to help you control your emotions and find their root cause. Being impatient, I couldn't perform all the pieces of advice given there to the end, but I'm pretty sure it will help those who is able to do that.
