To add more context, there have been many research articles like these http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/02/15/u-s-students-internationally-math-science/ that show us where the US stands in terms of education prowess. But also, I feel there is an additional problem that is unique to the US, which is the racial achievement gap https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racial_achievement_gap_in_the_United_States
What actions are being taken by the US to combat the dropping education scores? Do you guys think this will change in the future? With online education becoming more and more easily accessible and free, I think this will have a significant impact on the future of education in the US. Just to point out some examples, websites such as KhanAcademy, Udemy, and StudyPug have proven to be quite successful, pulling in millions of visits per day. Do you think these sites have the potential to change the way we approach education and bring our standings back on par with other countries?
