A curved line can intersect another line at several points. The line Y = sin(X) intersects the line Y = sin(X/2) several times. Similarly, two straight lines can intersect at more than one point if they are drawn on a curved plane. But for the purposes of simplicity, let's just say that two STRAIGHT lines can't intersect at more than one point.
