Indifference is the state of being without bias, prejudice or loyalty to one party. For example, officials in sports matches could be described as indifferent, as they are not allowed to favour either of the teams. Similarly, it can mean to be without concern or interest, as in not interested about the said issue.

In other, less common contexts, it may mean of only a moderate amount (or to only a moderate extent), unimportant or making no different.
