The density of salt water is high,  it will cause objects to float easily.
I saw an experiment by my colleague when I was in 6th grade. He took three glasses of water, and added salt water in one of them. He put boiled egg in all three of them. Egg in salt water remain floated, because of higher density of salt water.

An object floats only when the weight of the fluid it displaces is equal to the buoyancy force or the force exerted by the liquid. The egg sinks in water because it puts more force on the water than the water does on the egg. So to make the egg float, we have two options, make the object lighter or make the water denser. When we add salt to the water its density increases and more force is exerted on the egg by water to keep it afloat.

It increases the water that the egg so it would be like for example the water gets more heavy that's the way I would put it the water gets heavy mixed with the salt and makes the egg float

Salt affects the flotation of the egg because the salt makes the water dense and when the egg is less dense than the water, it makes the egg float. This applies for all objects.
