A person who is aware of his duties and rights in his society is a good citizen. He knows that he is a member of the group with which he is associated by a thousand and one ties. He realizes that he should live in harmony with other members of society.
Man cannot line without a society. He can't live alone. He must live with his fellow human beings. But living in a society means co-operation with other members of that society. When you live in society you have to take care of the other people. There are certain customs that have to b followed and you have to accept the traditions of your society. In addition there are certain boundaries that that should be taken care of. These restrictions and customs are for the common good and welfare of the society.

A good citizen does his best to do his duty to the society. He always keeps in view the interests of his society and state. I think the most important thing that a person can do for the society is that he should live an honest life. The life has become very fast and it has become almost impossible to do something for others and everyone is busy in his life. So we should be careful about our behavior with others and if we are not able to help others then at least we should not be harmful for others. We should respect each other's views, so that others respect our views. I think live and let live is a better idea.

A Good citizen
A good citizen is a blessing to society. He feels that he has certain responsibilities towards the state, just as the state has certain responsibilities towards him. Thus he is aware of both his privileges and his duties. His foremost duty is his loyalty to the country of his birth. It should be dearer to him than all his worldly possessions, and he should always be ready to sacrifice everything for its sake. He should have firm and deep faith in the welfare of his motherland. He has to obey law and order. He has to respect the constitution of his country and to obey its laws. He must be vigilant against the enemies of the country. He must not do something which may help the anti-nationalists or the enemies of the country. He should have no sympathy for law breakers, and he should help the state in their arrest. He must do all he can to make the criminals feel that all respectable people are against them. A good citizen takes intelligent interest in politics, so that he may use his vote for the good of the country and the nation. He is clean in habits and thoughts. He leads a simple life. Odds never damp his courage. He is confident, brave and pure. He is sincere friend of humanity. He treats his

My idea of a good citizen is quite simple. A good citizen is he who has all the qualities which make him a good human being. A good citizen understands well his duties towards his religion, neighbors, countrymen and country and guards his rights honestly and faithfully. He always respects and laws of the country. He never takes the laws into his own hands. He never forgets even for a moment that he is one of the members of the society and never above the law. He does not believe in the principal of might is right. He has no sympathy with the breakers of the law and anti-social and anti-national elements. He is always loyal to his country. He is always prepared to sacrifice everything for his country.
A good citizen always pays his taxes honestly. He knows that the government needs money to perform its function, to carry out the welfare plans and to maintain army to defend the country. This money is collected by applying taxes on the public.
A good citizen is a source of happiness for others; he has clean hands and sober habits. In fact he is a real gentleman. He believes in co-operation with others in good deeds. He helps the poor and the needy. He follows the principle
"Live and let others live"

Ultimately a good citizen contributes to and protects the safety and well being of the community/nation they live in...

This must start with - voting, obeying laws, doing your best in education, demanding top quality work from yourself and rejecting doing what best for self at the expense of others.
This may also include - getting involved in changing laws, giving money or time or talents to improve your community or help those struggling.
This may also include worship and seeking divine guidance to improve self as one who blesses others.

A good citizen has rights and responsibilities, you are allowed to live where-ever you want, but you must follow the rules and pay the taxes. A worthy citizen respects others and their opinion, for example at a town meeting they will listen to what others have to say and take their point of view into consideration. A good citizen obeys the human rights, They respect others rights and freedoms. A good citizen will lend a helping hand to a person in need, if they see someone who may not be able to mow their own lawn a good resident would help them out. A denizen will not discriminate against other.....

The number one golden rule "treat others the way you want to treated". Also a good citizen must obey the laws and give to the community. Vote an d participate in political academics the stay informed on whats going on around the world.
