No. If it did, there would be no such thing as artificial insemination! Sperm can stay alive as long as it has the wet seminal fluid to protect it. The sperm will die once the semen has fully dried. That means if a girl touches wet semen then touches herself, pregnancy is possible. So it's important to handle all wet semen with care and assume it has live sperm in it.

You can get pregnant even if you never had a period. Most girls will ovulate (become fertile) before getting their period. And most girls have no idea when that's going to happen. Sperm can live in a woman's body for about five days. A girl can also get STDs even if she has never had her period before. So do your research, use protection every single time, don't let your friends talk you into anything stupid that you're not prepared for ever again, and see a doctor if you're unsure.

Sperm eventually dies when left in the open air. But it does not die as soon as it hits open air. If it did, there would be no sperm banks because the sperm would die the second it left the penis anyway. Pregnancy can also occur if sperm get close to a woman's v*gina and manage to drip inside.
