Collectively, they are 24 years older than they were 8 years ago.
The youngest is 4/(4+7+9)*(56+24) = 4/20*80 = 16
The one in the middle is 7/20*80 = 28
The oldest is 9*4 = 36
Their present ages are 16, 28, 36.
