If you check with some of your local salvage yards, they usually have old boat motors laying around. Otherwise your Johnson and Evinrude dealer could help you or check online for boat motor salvage yards.

You don't need a special prop, just one with a higher "pitch" or greater angle on the blades. Look closely for numbers stamped into your prop. Should be a 9x9, or 9x10 or something similar. Stamped on it.Only go up 1 step, if it's a 9 only go to a 10. Otherwise it will bog the engine down and work it to hard  causing it to lose what speed you may have gained. You can pick them up off line or at your local boat shop.

Hello  ~

Check  Classic  Items  On  Ebay !  I  Had  Seen a  Prop  On There  That Would  Work  On  Your  Motor.  It  Was  For  That Year &  HP,  Good  Luck !
